Post-Party Depression

A nude weekend party is kinda like sex (just wait, that’s not what I mean); you look forward to it in anticipation, it’s great while it’s happening, then it’s over all too soon.

Now, that doesn’t mean that it didn’t last long enough, it’s just that afterwards, ahh, it’s time to relax and regroup.  That’s the plan for today.

The VVRC party was a great time, saw some folks we knew (including Academic Naturist and his lovely and vivacious more-than-lady-friend), met some new ones, soaked and hot tubbed to the max, ate well, and all that stuff.

We wound up staying overnight because a room opened up at the last moment and what the heck, we’ll call it a second honeymoon.  Besides, it’s been half a year (!) since we got to run around nekked with a bunch of other folks.  And a couple more before we’ll be able to do so again.  That’s Wisconsin for ya!

Our biggest contribution to the event probably was getting the DJ to play ‘Surrender’ by Cheap Trick.  Somehow, “Mommy’s all right, Daddy’s all right, they just seem a little weird…”  seemed appropriate for a pool room crowd of mostly middle-aged naked people.  I mean, our kids look at us that way…

One funny thing, the DJ spent the afternoon setting up fully dressed and as the evening progressed he lost his shirt, then pants, then everything.  Ha, another convert!

So we’re back in Hell after a taste of Heaven.  That’ll have to sustain us for a little while longer.  Then, Summer!   – S
