Your response to the article was spot on. I’ve never felt completely at ease at any of the resorts I’ve been to. Taking a fresh look at single male policies is a start but there needs to be acceptance of unaccompanied males by the nudist community as a whole. That’s a more difficult problem to overcome.

For single males to be accepted, they need a chance to show that they can behave. To do that, they have to be allowed in. Catch-22!
And then there’s the rather justifiably selfish reason that many permanent residents don’t want their investment taken over by a bunch of guys when they’re much more comfortable around folks like themselves.
A lot of factors involved, and few have changed over the decades.
